I recently switched from Upstox Pro to Upstox Pro Web. Will it still work?
Yes. StoxMark connects via the Upstox API v2, which works regardless of whether you trade on the Pro mobile app, Pro Web, or the legacy desktop terminal. All orders from every platform show up in a single journal.
Can I import older trades that were placed before I connected StoxMark?
On first sync, we pull as much history as the Upstox API exposes. For trades beyond that window, you can upload tradebook CSVs exported from the Upstox back-office. The parser handles the Upstox format out of the box — no manual formatting needed.
Does this support MCX commodity trades on Upstox?
Yes. Crude oil, natural gas, gold, silver — all MCX instruments traded through Upstox are synced with their correct lot sizes and exchange-specific charges. Your commodity P&L is tracked separately for tax purposes.
Upstox already shows P&L in the app. Why do I need a separate journal?
